Fire does not spread within the XFLAM Panel system confining damage to the immediate areas of fire impact and isolating the fire into cells thus preventing fire growth. Very low smoke production contributes to the overall safety of XFLAM construction for occupants and fire fighters together.

Warranty

Askin stands behind materials and workmanship and will provide a conditional warranty on request for a completed project. Approved project warranties may have a term of up to 36yrs for materials and 2yrs for workmanship. Not all applications are warrantable.

XFLAM Panel has completed a full range of testing at FM Approvals in the US. These tests encompassed the range of XFLAM wall, ceiling and roof products and were endorsed in all 3 relevant certifications for Insulated Panel Systems.
XFLAM Panels are the first in Australasia to achieve total endorsement in all three relevant certifications for Insulated Panel Systems.

Fire Performance

Corner Room Test

In fire situations, the phenolic honeycomb matrix remains intact and the fire behavior is limited to surface charring which significantly inhibits fire spread.

Impact Resistance

Static & Cyclic Pressure Test

As a construction product, XFLAM has superior mechanical strength to EPS – FR, PIR, PUR and Mineral Wool. It can span up to 30% further than PIR and PUR – Reducing the cost of supporting structures and freeing up internal spaces.
